Erik Crew
Founder | Executive Leadership Coach & Consultant
I’m fascinated with how organizations are influenced and impacted by the motivations and behaviors of their leaders and team members. Progress, success, and healthy environments rise and fall on the way people approach work together and interact with one another.
Transforming to Lead – Leading to Transform is my personal motto. This underscores my belief that as leadership capability and team effectiveness are elevated, more engaging and thriving relationships, teams, and organizations are cultivated and sustained. I created Brightbridge Leadership because I’m passionate about helping leaders and teams bring out their best to create a better and brighter future. Better Leading. Better Teaming. Brighter Future.
Baked into the ethos of Brightbridge Leadership is the invaluable knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the years. I’ve served in a variety of organizations across sectors and especially within a large, enterprise system as an Organizational Development Practitioner, Leadership Development Consultant, and Leadership Coach. I specialized in providing highly personalized leadership coaching, delivering organizational consultative services, and facilitating leadership development experiences to foster dynamic leader and team member transformation.
When I’m not coaching and advising leaders and teams, I’m knee-deep in completing my Ed.D. doctoral dissertation at Creighton University. My dissertation research is focused on the way CEOs cognitively process intragroup conflict within their Top Management Team. I also hold an MA in Organizational Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Servant-Leadership from Gonzaga University as well as an ICF ACC coaching credential. I am also certified in a variety of assessments (e.g., Hogan, Pixel Perspectives+ 360 Insights, Pixel TEAM10+ Team Coaching, CliftonStrengths).
I love to hike and bike. I especially love being up in the mountains but also enjoy being at the beach and taking a morning run alongside the crashing waves. I also enjoy a good workout on the court or in the gym, and growing up visiting family in Pittsburgh turned me into a lifelong Steelers, Pirates, and Pitt fan. I keep up to date on current events and trends, and enjoy reading biographies, early American history, and dystopian fiction. I met my beautiful and brilliant wife at work back in the early aughts and from that point on, have found great satisfaction living life together navigating new adventures and taking advantage of our city’s top-notch sporting, entertainment and cultural amenities.
I would enjoy meeting with you to hear your story and discuss how Brightbridge Leadership can meet your leadership and teaming needs.
